Please save March 5, 2017 for a wonderful evening of Greek food and ancient Greek music with Dr. Jon Solomon, a legendary former professor of Classics at the University of Arizona, now teaching at the University of Illinois, Champagne-Urbana.
The Hellenic Cultural Foundation is hosting a dinner to raise funds for scholarships for outstanding students at the University of Arizona studying all aspects of Greek culture, including Greek language, both ancient and modern, literature, archaeology, and philosophy.
Dr. Solomon will recreate ancient Greek music in a lively, musical presentation entitled: “Ancient Greek Music and Modern Adaptations to Delphic Hymns.”
